Come, See the Child
Isaiah 9:1-7; Titus 2:11-15; Luke 2:1-20

Come, see the child in the manger laid,
There in a stable of Bethlehem.
Shepherds and angels in joy parade,
Greeting the One who was born for them.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Greeting the One who was born for them.

Hear with the shepherds of Bethlehem
Voices of angels, their news released:
"Let there be peace for Jerusalem!
And unto all with whom God is pleased.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
And unto all with whom God is pleased.

Who brings this joy that shall never cease,
Born in a place of such humble fare?
"Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace,
Eternal Father, beyond compare!"
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Eternal Father, beyond compare!"

We who have walked in the darkenss' blight
Know the great joy of our Savior's birth.
For in that Child we have seen a light
Shining a blessing to all the earth.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Shining a blessing to all the earth.
